There are no fees for the
Festival Competition
Eligibility:
Playwrights must be 19
years old or younger on
March 16, 2009 —
co-written plays acceptable
provided co-writers meet
eligibility requirement
Content:
Original plays and musicals
on ANY subject
Limit:
Up to 3 plays per playwright
or playwright team
Format:
Plays submitted by
mail/express: All script
pages
must be numbered and printed
on only one side, and
unbound
(loose sheets, no staples).
Plays submitted by e-mail:
must be in PDF format.
No Returns:
Scripts will NOT be returned
— please do NOT send
originals!
Notification: We will
contact Festival Competition
winners in May 2009
Performance:
Winning plays performed in
the Festival in Los Angeles
in June 2009
